Marking its 9th year, Micro Nano MEMS returned to the NEC in Hall 1 on Tuesday 26th & Wednesday 27th September 2017 as a dedicated specialist feature area at the annual Sensors & Instrumentation show.

Targeting a specific professional audience, the pavilion covered the full spectrum of technologies, from laser micromachining through to micro injection moulding, and from MEMS fabrication, through to assembly, inspection and test equipment.

It offered visitors a one-stop-shop for small and ultra-precision process technology. The event provided design engineers with the information and knowledge required to optimise micro and nano manufacturing opportunities in this fast developing field.

Micro Nano MEMS also had an exclusively allocated seminar theatre. The seminar programme was characterised by high quality presentations from leading users of the technologies and industry commentators from across the globe.

Visitors also got to see live demos of game-changing products on the new Connecting Industry LIVE! stage, complete a lap in the PR Electronics Formula 1 car simulator and delve deeper into the field of robotics with Alfie, a humanoid robot ‘with a difference’. The Innovation Showcase area meanwhile, provided a snapshot of the range of developments on show at the exhibition in the centre of the hall.

Micro Nano MEMS will return to the NEC Birmingham on 25 & 26 September next year, when it comes together with country’s only national electronics exhibition, What’s New in Electronics Live (WNIE Live) to offer visitors a bumper engineering experience.
